A Love Letter to The O’Briens
A western wedding that felt straight out of a movie

Some people are meant to meet, and Adam and Gina are two of them.
After matching on a dating app, it was clear there was a connection. In fact, Gina even said that Adam seemed too good to be true so she “rushed to meet him in person.” After they met, the rest was history.
The pair knew almost immediately that they would share a future together. About one month into the relationship, Adam even travelled to his tattoo artist and had the tattoo on his ring finger covered up. The one that said 'never.' It is safe to say, they were certain about each other.

The couple got engaged at The Bianchi Winery in Paso Robles, where after a little wine tasting and a very nervous three hour drive, Adam got down on one knee and Gina said yes.
A Western Wedding
When the wedding planning commenced, Adam and Gina quickly decided on a western theme for their special day. Adam, a die-hard Kurt Russell fan who even has tattoos of his character from Tombstone, was drawn to the 1880 Union for its ties to the saloon and the old west. The pair chose the Union as their first stop on their venue search and after seeing the space, they knew they didn't need to look anywhere else.

The details told the story. For her reception look, Gina changed into a pair of boots and a saloon party hat that set the tone for the rest of the evening, and guests followed suit with cowboy hats and boots dotting the brick terrace all night long. It was the kind of western wedding where nothing felt forced or costumey, just effortlessly cool. By the end of the night, on the terrace under the string lights, Adam and Gina had pulled off exactly what they set out to do.
In true Kurt Russell fashion, the newlyweds ended their wedding day with an afterparty in the historic saloon. With Chef Noban’s late night bites, several games of pool, and lots of dancing, it was a perfect end to a perfect day.
Moments from the Day
Gina and Adam chose to get married on March 28th 2026. It was a perfect central coast spring day, with temperatures shifting throughout the 60’s, and the ivy lining the brick beginning to peek through.
For their ceremony, Adam and Gina chose the brick terrace with the fireplace alter as their backdrop, one of the more intimate and unexpected spots the Union has to offer. Surrounded by elegant florals, the setting felt timeless in a way that only a 145 year old building can. It is a space that does not need much, and on their wedding day, it needed nothing at all.

As the evening went on, the terrace transformed seamlessly from ceremony space to a full outdoor dinner and dance floor under the string lights. The same brick that held their vows held their first dance, their toasts, and by the end of the night, a very full dance floor.
The Details That Made It Theirs
The details are what made the day entirely theirs. Before the ceremony, the couple gathered with their bridal party for a private guided prayer, a quiet and intentional moment before everything began. A vintage loveseat anchored the brick terrace as their sweetheart table, giving the reception a lived-in warmth that felt perfectly in line with the rest of the day. The bride wore a cathedral length veil from Harriet Falvey that swept the brick as she walked down the aisle. It was a personal touch that made an already beautiful moment feel completely her own. Guests left with a little something extra too. A custom trucker hat station let everyone personalize their own hat to take home, a keepsake that felt very on brand for the evening. And just when the night felt complete, a bakery pop up appeared on the lawn for a sweet end to a wonderful day.

What’s Next
After the celebration, the couple spent a magical honeymoon in Norway and are now on the hunt for a larger house to begin a family together. We couldn’t be happier for them.
