A Love Letter to The Cases

There is no better moment than getting to marry your best friend. And on June 13th, 2026, Ava and Aaron Case did just that.

Before it all Began

Getting ready can be one of the most fun parts of a wedding and made even better by who you get ready with. In Ava’s case, she had all of her favorite people right there with her.

“My favorite part of the weekend was our family and bridal party all staying in one place” - Ava Case

Her bridesmaides started the morning in colorful floral robes, each one a little different from the next, before raising a glass to the bride. It was bright, fun, and the perfect way to kick off the day.

While they may have had a little less getting ready to do, the groomsmen still found their own way to make the morning count. With a drink in hand and a game of pool in The Saloon, Aaron and his groomsmen kicked off the day together at the Union Saloon.

One of our favorite parts of a wedding day is getting to see the people closest to the bride and groom right there beside them, having just as much fun celebrating. Ava and Aaron were surrounded by so much love all day, and it showed in every photo from their wedding day.

A Palette Built for This Place

When Ava started thinking about color, she did what the best couples do: she looked at what was already there. The greenery climbing the property, the grass, the brick. The venue handed her the canvas, and she ran with it. Oranges, pinks, and yellows in loose, wildflower arrangements that looked less like something you ordered and more like something you gathered on the drive up Bell Street. Even the cake reflected the vision. Whimsical, abundant, and completely at home here.

The linens were never really a question either. "I don't think I ever considered anything other than toile after seeing the venue," Ava told us. She went sage so there would be contrast without competition, color without chaos. The result was a table that felt layered and alive, every element in conversation with the one next to it. "No boring single color wedding for us," she said. She meant it. It showed.

From Ceremony to Last Call

The day moved the way the best ones do, one thing into the next without a seam. Ava and Aaron said their vows at the gazebo, surrounded by everyone they love, and then that same group of people pulled up a chair at the Brick Terrace for dinner. No sweetheart table for these two. Instead, a long head table with family and the whole bridal party, and the rest of the guests gathered close around them. The kind of setup that keeps the night feeling like one big conversation.

As nights here tend to go, the tables made way for a dance floor. When the Brick Terrace had given everything it had, the party moved inside to the Saloon, where it kept going until the last song played.

The Weekend, Not Just the Day

Ask Ava what her favorite part of the weekend was, and she won't point to a moment on the timeline. She'll point to the whole thing. The family and bridal party all under one roof. Guests settled into town. Memories that kicked off Friday morning and didn't stop until Sunday. The quiet ones, the small ones, the ones that didn't make it into any reel but live clearly in the people who were there.

"We saw people we knew every time we stepped outside," - Ava Case

At 1880 Union Hotel you get the true intimacy of a destination wedding while only being 2.5 hours from Los Angeles and 4.5 hours from San Franscisco, California. A full-property buyout in a rural vineyard town, where your guests spill out into the streets and run into friends at every turn and wine tasting room.

The Dog Who Made the Cut

Not every wedding has a bridesmaid with four legs, but then again, not every couple is Ava and Aaron. Enter Jax, the self-appointed life of the party and, by all accounts, the sweetest guy in attendance.

The Union is a pet friendly venue, and we love meeting every couple’s furry friends. Jax belongs to one of the bridesmaids and apparently needed no convincing to show up. Some guests come for the open bar. Jax came for the love.

Made by Hand

Some couples outsource the details. Ava made hers from scratch, literally. Her maid of honor designed a custom logo for the wedding that found its way onto everything: the invitations, the koozies, and the candles. Ava put her expert pottery skills at Glazed Garage to good use and threw all 160 of the wedding guests candles herself, hand stamping each one with their custom logo. She and her mom set the wicks and poured each candle by hand in her mom's kitchen, a true labor of love gifted to each guest.

"It looked like a chemistry lab in there" - Ava Case

She also threw every vase that sat on the tables and bars. We love when a wedding truly showcases the couples talents and each hand crafted moment Ava made the event a true self-reflection and something distinctly theirs.

Ava and her mom sell their ceramics across the United States. You can check-out all their latest pieces on their instagram @glazed.garage .

Ava and Aaron, thank you for trusting us to be a part of your wedding day. From the wildflowers on the tables to the candles you poured in your mom's kitchen, every piece of this weekend had your fingerprints on it. That's the kind of thing guests carry home with them, both literally with the beautiful gift and figuratively through your outpouring of love. We're so glad you found your way to Los Alamos, and we hope you'll come back soon.

With love, from Bell Street.
