A Drinking Guide to Los Alamos, CA
In our last Union Dispatch we covered all of the best places to grab a bite in Los Alamos, and if you haven't read it yet, consider this your sign to go back and check it out. This time around we are focusing on arguably the more important half of the equation, the best spots to grab a cold drink in and around town. From iconic cocktails at the Saloon to some of the best tasting rooms in California wine country, here is your guide to the best places to raise a glass in Los Alamos.
1880 Union Hotel Saloon
Naturally starting off our list with a local (and personal) favorite. A historic cowboy stop, the Saloon transports you into America's Old West the moment you walk through the door. If you're looking for the true Los Alamos experience, a game of pool at the Saloon is a must, and while you're there definitely grab a Stagecoach - the Saloon's famous twist on a classic Old Fashioned. It is well worth your while.
